About Readers Ride: who we are and how we work

Readers Ride is an Indian women's guide to buying well. Who we are, what we publish, how we choose what to recommend and how we earn.

Readers Ride is an Indian women's guide to buying well, living well and travelling well. We started in 2017 as a lifestyle blog. In 2026 we relaunched with one clear job: to help you decide what to buy, where to go and how to plan, without the noise.

What we publish

Our guides cover the things Indian households actually spend time and money on: kitchen appliances and home essentials, skin, hair and wellness, gifts for every person and budget, weddings and festivals, jewellery, and places worth travelling to. Each guide explains what matters, what to skip, and how much you should expect to pay.

How we choose what to recommend

We read the specifications, compare models side by side, read published reviews and owner reports, and check the details that brands leave out, such as running costs, after-sales service and warranty terms. Where a point needs a professional view, such as health advice, we say so and ask a qualified person to review it. You can read the full method on our editorial policy page.

How we make money

Readers Ride is free to read. When you buy through some of the links on our pages, we may earn a small commission from the shop, at no extra cost to you. We may also show advertising. Money never decides what we recommend, and we label every commercial link. The details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

Who writes Readers Ride

Readers Ride is written and edited by the Readers Ride Editorial Team. Some articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and are always reviewed and edited by a person before they are published. We tell you about this on the editorial policy page.
