Salman Khan’s much awaited flick Tubelight is out. Salman plays a developmentally disabled young man. However the film has received explicitly negative reviews from fans as well as film critics. Online movie reviewers labeled Tubelight as one of the worst performances in Sallu Bhai’s career.
Tubelight opened to 21.15 crores on the first day; around 30-35 crores were expected, but the film didn’t enjoy a good response. The King of Opening still managed to become the highest grosser of 2017 beating SRK’s Raees.
Many found a deep emotional connect between Salman and Sohail, it does not keep the screenplay engaging. Numbers were expected to rise on the 2nd day, but disappointment hits us hard again.

Though this movie was expected to cross the Worldwide Gross of magnum opus Baahubali : The Conclusion, this ended as something very average. I personally don’t think, Tubelight would be able to break big records. In two days, it has not even collected 50 crores; we are not sure as to if or when this film will enter the 100 crore club.
