BCCI has finally announced Ravi Shastri as the Head coach of Indian Cricket team. So, happy days ahead for Indian Skipper Virat Kohli.
Yes, Ravi Shastri has taken over the responsibility of heading the Indian team in all the 3 formats. On Monday, Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) interviewed 5 people for the post like Virender Sehwag, Ravi Shastri, Lalchand Rajput, Richard Pybus and Tom Moody. However, Ravi Shastri has topped the list and has got selected. The interview was conducted by Laxman, Ganguly and Tendulkar. They have offered him a contract till the ICC World Cup, which would be played in 2019.
We all were eager to know who India’s next coach would be, after Kumble resigned from the position. There were many reports about rift between Kohli and Kumble after Kumble called their mutual relationship “untenable”. So, everyone hoped that the new coach would develop that bonding once again and sort out these differences.
Ravi Shastri’s first assignment would start from 26th July during India’s tour to Sri Lanka. We hope that there won’t be any more disputes because Kohli has finally found someone who would go his way.
