Who said that this protein-packed dairy delight is just a breakfast option? Yes, we are talking about yogurt that can go with just about anything be it an appetizer, main course or any dessert. Whether it is a creamy yogurt dip served with peanuts or any Greek yogurt recipe, there is nothing that can beat yogurt in being one of the key ingredients.

Well, the healthy fridge staple can be used in a number of ways and for that matter, we have come up with some amazing yogurt recipes that are sure to make you drool.

Blueberry Frozen yogurt pie bites

Ingredients: Pitted dates, toasted almonds, blueberries, almond butter, nectarine, yogurt, and honey

Recipe: First mix almond, almond butter, and nuts together in a processor. Then take a muffin pan greased with cooking spray and pour the mixture evenly among muffin columns in a way that it forms piecrusts.

Then cut 12 slices from nectarine. Use 12 blueberries and reserve it on a plate and let it refrigerate for some time. Then use remaining blueberries, mash it and then add it with the nectarine left. Mix yogurt and honey to the mashed berries. Divide among muffin cups and let it freeze until it becomes firm. Serve at room temperature with nectarine slice on the top.

Pumpkin Waffles

Ingredients: All-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, baking powder, coarse salt, nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, unsalted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.

Recipe: Firstly mix all the flours, all powders (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, baking) along with wheat germ and salt in a bowl. Then take a medium bowl, add brown sugar, pumpkin puree, eggs, vanilla, butter and milk and stir until it becomes a smooth batter. Then add milk again so that the mixed batter is thin enough to be poured in the waffle iron.

Pour batter into heated waffle iron and cook accordingly. Serve with yogurt and nuts and fruits. Your pumpkin waffle with yogurt is ready!

Berry Swirl with honeyed frozen yogurt

Ingredient: For Berry Jam – Frozen mixed berries, honey, and white balsamic vinegar

For Frozen Yogurt: Plain yogurt, cold half-and-half, honey and vanilla extract

Recipe: First we will prepare berry jam: Combine berries and honey in a pan, heat the mixture over medium flame. Stir the mixture until honey gets melted and the mixture becomes quite syrupy. Also, use vinegar to stir. Then remove the mixture and let it cool down. Then freeze it and use an airtight container for storing it.

Recipe for frozen yogurt: Beat the cold yogurt, half-and-half, honey and vanilla extract for a smooth batter. And there you have frozen yogurt.

Assemble: Pour the yogurt mixture, let it freeze until it becomes as thick as a milkshake and add berry jam on the top of yogurt and swirl it. Press a piece of parchment onto the mixture, freeze it till it comes out as a scoop. It will take at least four hours to freeze.

Greek yogurt with blue and blackberry sauce

Ingredients: Frozen blueberries, blackberries, water, sugar, fresh lemon juice, butter and Greek yogurt.

Recipe: Combine first five ingredients in a pan. Boil them until the mixture gets thick. Use butter for stirring. Then pour yogurt into a bowl, top it with the mixed sauce your formed and serve as soon as make.

Bourbon-styled peaches with yogurt

Ingredients: Vanilla bean (split), Greek yogurt, dark brown sugar, sea salt, vanilla extract and ripe peaches (divided into haves)

Recipe: Use seeds from vanilla bean and combine it with bean, yogurt, sugar, salt and then allow it to rest for one hour. After that, divide seeds out of it.

Preheat oven to 176° C and then mix remaining bourbon, sugar, salt, vanilla extract in a bowl. Whip it. Place peaches in parchment baking paper. Reserve the mixture and bake the peaches for 10 minutes at the same temperature. Turn peaches and then bake further for another 10 minutes. Serve with yogurt and enjoy it!
