GST has been one of the most discussed topics of the country for the past few days now. While many seem to be confused of the major tax reform, there are others who firmly believe that it will change the financial standards of the country.
During the GST Launch at 12 AM on July 1st at Central Hall of Parliament and President Pranab Mukherjee and PM Modi. Modi addressed the media:
“GST will be not only a tax reform but an economic and social reform as well that will unify the nation, check corruption and end harassment at hands of officers.”

Well, only time will tell if GST changes India for better or not, but these reactions were funny for sure.
Congress is lending their support to GST but they are disappointed in the way in which it is being implemented. Rahul Gandhi, Congress VP, is presently on holidays but he took to Twitter to express his and his party’s discord on the matter in a series of tweets. According to him, the implementation of GST is a Tamasha and the manner in which it is being implemented in Half-baked. He adds that it is a Self-promotional spectacle of the Modi government. He has alleged that the government is implementing GST without any preparation and backup just as it did at the time of demonetisation.
